Who we are

Girls4Sports (G4S) is the world's largest youth-led nonprofit fighting gender inequality in sports. We strive to expand opportunities for underserved girls to play sports and to raise awareness about gender inequality in sports through advocacy, policy, and service efforts.

Panel Speaker at Project Play Summit by ESPN​

Our Founder, Maegha Ramanathan, was invited to. speak at the opening panel at the Project Play Summit 2025. Ramanathan spoke to 700+ business executives, entrepreneurs, and sports players on the importance of youth leadership in sports equity.   

New Launch: ReFuel Her by Girls4Sports​

Girls4Sports is excited to launch ReFuel Her, a children’s book designed to inspire young female athletes. The story subtly introduces the importance of proper nutrition, especially as body image issues and eating disorders continue to impact girls in sports.  ReFuel Her helps young readers understand that fueling their bodies is key to feeling strong, confident, and unstoppable.

Chapter Spotlight - Ekwandi Girls4Sports​

Ekwandi Girls4Sports led a week long sports camp for underserved girls in Ekwandi! With over 200 girls in attendance, Ekwandi Girls4Sports is changing the game in Africa, one girl at a time.
